Lead EM Pastor
josephlee@disciplecc.orgPastor Jo currently oversees the English Ministry, with a focus on young adults and married couples. Raised in Torrance but now calling Irvine home, he's a graduate of UCSD with M.Div from Talbot School of Theology, earning his ordination in 2022. His journey in ministry at Disciple Community Church began in 2017 and shortly after in 2019, he began a lifelong partnership with his wife, Shardae.
Jo's extroverted personality excels in his leadership to bring people together and his love for sports shines through in his enjoyment of watching the greatest sports teams like the New England Patriots and the Chicago Bulls. His true passion lies in helping people know Christ and grow in their knowledge of God, and witnessing our Ordinary Ministry flourish as a unified body of Christ.

Worship and College Pastor
dyoon@disciplecc.orgDavid currently oversees the worship and college ministry. He graduated from Talbot seminary in 2021 as an M. Div student. He’s served as a youth and worship director since 2015 and joined the Ordinary and Disciple staff in July 2023. He was ordained in 2024 to the Korea Presbyterian Church in America (Kosin). He is the husband to his lovely wife Sabrina and father to his daughter Josephine.
Besides his interest in music, he is a little too serious about his love for the Phoenix Suns and the Dodgers. (It’s a weird combination.) And coffee. Just overly nerdy about coffee. Don’t get him started.
In terms of ministry he loves theology, music, and is passionate about not just understanding the Gospel not as just information, but allowing it to transform everything in our lives.

Women’s Ministry Director
loislee@disciplecc.orgLois Lee currently serves as the Women’s Ministry Director at Ordinary Ministry. She graduated from Talbot School of Theology in 2026 and has been involved in worship and youth ministry throughout her years of serving the church. She loves getting to know others and walking alongside them through the ups and downs of life, and has a particular love for the Korean-American church and the people who call it home.
Outside of ministry, Lois loves movies, trying new things, and going down the occasional Wikipedia rabbit hole. She is happiest in the passenger seat, especially on a long drive with good conversation and good music. She is grateful for the gift of knowing Jesus and for the life He has given her, and desires that others would experience and see that same goodness in their own lives.

Media and Creative Director
dcho@disciplecc.orgDavid currently oversees all things media at Ordinary Ministry. He is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Talbot School of Theology and, Lord willing, hopes to graduate in 2029 (please pray for him).
Together with his wife, Seran, their daughter, Elsie, and their dog, Moby, David is happiest at home watching documentaries about the most random things. Above all, however, his greatest joy is found in knowing Jesus Christ and being fully known by Him.
